Glorious

Now this piece I had fun with.  This was all digitally drawn using a wagon intous pro tablet.  The whole piece was pure weighted white lines on a black background since the piece shows only negative space values.  What better way to use negative space than on actual cosmic space.

I was born the year 1998, year of the Tiger.  I chose a tiger for realism.  For this piece, I decided to use pure pencil.  Using lines to signify where fur would lay, I was able to create a realistic beast with realistic feline features. 

For this piece, was first hand drawn on pencil.  Then I went over it with some prisma markers.  The way I added depth and value was that I took advantage of the markers deteriorating ink and started using hand brush strokes to create weighted lines.
